Daily Prompt: Exquisite

I did it.

I created an artificial life form. It took me many years, many failures, many successes. And now.

Now.

Those failures are all in the past. All of those successes are here and now in the present and standing before me.

Real.

True.

Here.

Perfection.

Exquisite.

Fingers, toes, fingernails, toenails, eyelashes, lip line, hair line.

And she exists because of all of my work.

She. Exquisite, perfect she.

My hard work all paid off.

She will be grateful for everything I’ve gone through. She will see me as her god.

I don’t expect her to love me. She was not programmed for that. I don’t expect it. I don’t want it.

But she will never leave me.

She. Perfect, exquisite she.
