Here we are at Day #3. It took me a while to decide on my last quote. There was a particular quote I wanted to use, but I couldn’t find the book that it was from and I couldn’t quite remember it word for word. So, I’ll put that one on hold for next time.
The rules are simple:
Thank you to the person who nominates you
Post one quote per day for 3 consecutive days (day 1)
Nominate three new bloggers each day
SO, WHAT IS TODAY’S QUOTE? IT’S A GOOD, LONG ONE…
“There are moments that the words don’t reach
There’s a grace too powerful to name.
We push away what we can never understand
We push away the unimaginable.
They are standing in the garden
Alexander by Eliza’s side
She takes his hand.
“It’s quiet uptown.”
Can you imagine?”
And that whole quote is from Hamilton the musical – “It’s Quiet Uptown.”
AND MY VERY LAST GROUP OF NOMINEES ARE….
Thank you again, Kim at Over The Andes for sending this challenge my way. It was a lot of fun. 🙂
