Beyond the forest glen, the realization struck her hard like a raw, green banana to the face. She was on the wrong side of the forest.
She had entered the werewolves’ territory and it was getting late.
And tonight was the full moon.
She turned around and ran.
She hoped beyond hope that she’d be able to get back to the other side of the forest before night fell.
But she had a bad feeling that it wasn’t very likely.
She kept running.
It was the only thing that she could do.
